Lifetime Moments in the K2-K3 Room

 Special Moment with Judah
Judah is learning how to use stairs. Every day when we go outside, he asks a Morah to hold his hand and help him walk down. Today, he wanted to try it all on his own. Judah very carefully held onto the railing as he stepped down each stair. Judah was so proud of his accomplishment!

Continuing Our Exploration of Colors

Morah Andi brought bags of paint into our classroom with two different colors.  The children explored them, then  Morah Andi asked, “What does yellow and blue make?”  Olive used her hands to mix the colors together and said, “GREEN!" "It turned green,” Yisroel Meir said.  Morah Andi asked them what color they would like to add; the children decided on white.  She asked them, "When we add whit,e will it change or stay the same?”  Yisroel Meir chose to add white to his orange color and said, “Look! It is not the same. It is lighter.”  When Olive added more white to her green bag she enthusiastically said, “It’s more green.”  The class then explored black and white and Yisroel Meir looked down at his shirt and observed, “It matches my shirt.”  Olive informed Yisroel Meir, “That is called gray.”
